Justin Grant had a sensational 2017 Chili Bowl. On the Friday night he won both the A-Feature and the #BCForever Pole Shuffler to secure the top spot in Saturday's marquee race where he placed 3rd for the Clauson-Marshall Racing team.

It was an unfortunate Chili Bowl for NASCAR driver, Kyle Larson. While running 2nd in Tuesday night's A-Feature Kyle wrecked while battling for the lead. On Saturday, Larson was able to transfer from the D-Feature to the C-Feature and was in a transfer position when a car stalled in front of him. Kyle jumped on the breaks to avoid the car in front and stalled himself. Officials sent him to the back with under half the race left and he was unable to transfer.
No. 47 Danny Stratton was able to beat out both Daryn Pittman and Larry Wight to secure 6th in the Pole Shuffler which equalled to a 6th spot in the Saturday night A-Feature of The 2017 Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa, Oaklahoma.
Brody Roa grabbed the final transfer spot in the B-Feature on the Vacuworx Qualifying Night of The 2017 Chili Bowl Nationals.
Thomas Meseraull had the largest hill to climb on his way to the big show. He won the D-Feature, started near the rear and claimed 3rd in the C-Feature. That put him at the tail of the B-Feature, where again T-Mez would not be denied and placed 5th, to transfer to the A-Feature. a spot in the Saturday night's Feature event, where he would finish a strong 5th.
Sam Hafertepe Jr.'s Thursday night was near flawless leading up to the A-feature. He had gone from 8th to 2nd in his heat and won his qualifier from 6th to put him on the pole of the A. Unfortunately, while running 2nd in the Thursday night feature, Sam hit the cone on the restart and was sent to the back of the pack with little laps remaining.
Brady Bacon looked fast all week at The 2017 Chili Bowl, but a DNF in the Thursday night A-Feature had him behind all Saturday and he was unable to make the main event.
Travis Berryhill won his heat and placed 3rd in his qualifier, to start him in 5th place of the Wednesday night A-Feature, where he captured the victory. The Wednesday night feature win secured Travis a spot in Saturday's main event at The 2017 Chili Bowl.

Sprint car legend; Donny Schatz, looked fast all week at Tulsa Expo Raceway, but was denied entrance to the A-Feature after being overtaken for the last transfer spot, on the final lap of the B main. Ironically, verteran Schatz, would recieve the 2017 Chili Bowl Rookie of the Year honors.
Jake Swanson of SIX8 Motorsports, went from 18th to 2nd in Thursday night's Chili Bowl Qualifier to secure a spot in the Saturday night's Feature event, where he would finish a strong 5th.
